Perhaps my parents don’t need to know my worries about travelling with a stranger…

This was the first page that I tried out a new way to paint backgrounds! It’s still a bit eh, but it feels much more natural, and it saves time since I don’t have to worry about lining it before adding color. What do you guys think?

Well hey, a lot of people use an assumed name when they check into a hotel with a girl they only just met. Especially if they have a pocket full of counterfeit money.

Actually, everyone calls me ‘Fox’, which is better than having to say my real name. Could be worse. My nickname when I was young was ‘Mowgli’.

    It made a certain sense. I was small, brown and scrawny, habitually barefoot because shoes never fit, with big eyes and a great unruly mop of thick black hair. Fortunately it was more a ‘term of endearment’. I was never bullied as a kid, which I now find curious – not only was I the only Native American in the school, but I skipped so many years that I was always with kids older and bigger than me. But my parents insisted on sending me for Martial Arts training early on, and the suggestion has been made that I probably carried myself like I could whomp anyone twice my size from an early age.
